A quick note to let you all know that the release date for Red Dust is May 1 2009 — just in time for Mother’s Day!
Was supposed to be April, but Allen and Unwin think that May would be a better month and since all Mum’s need time out from their busy life, I agree, as Red Dust would make a brilliant escape from reality! (Plug, plug!)
I’m really excited to think it’s only a few months away after four years of writing it, then trying to find a publisher who thought I had potential, editing and now it’s in the last stages.
It goes to final print on February 27 2009 and then it won’t be long to wait!
Then I’ll truly be able to concentrate on Blue Skies.

I can’t WAIT for Blue Skies!! Do you have a release date yet? I read Red Dust in a personal record 10 hours before going to buy another copy for my mother, a cattle farmer in NSW.
Hi Alicia, wow! I’m pleased you liked Red Dust! Blue Skies is due out around May next year. I’m in the process of writing it at the moment and it’s due at Allen & Unwin in September. I’m going great guns with it at the moment, but might slow down over the next two weeks with school holidays! I hope your mum enjoys Red Dust too.
