    House Rules – Jodi Picoult.

Have a son with Aspergers, so interesting to see what’s in store, behaviour wise (not being accused for murder-wise) :)

The Princess and her Panther by Wendy Orr

We read this at the library recently, it was brilliant. My daughters are both scared of the dark and this book really resonated with them.

  3. Linda Orchard says:

    House Rules-Jodi Piccoult.
I recently trained as a Teachers Aide and studied Autism. I know how thoroughly Jodi researches and would feel privilleged to own my own copy.

  4. Rebecca Brown says:

The Good Oil by Laura Buzo because I loved looking for Alibrandi and this one sounds just as good

  5. kathie helman says:

Medium Raw by Anthony Bourdain because I like his wit. I read” The Nasty Bits” and would love to get my hands on this one!

  6. Danielle Carr says:

I would like to win Jane Slayre, by Erwin and Bront, because it is an example of how gothic classics are reworked and given a new slant by modern authors, often extending their Gothic storyline, adding new Gothic details and giving them new life.

  7. Jo McDougall says:

I’m desperate to learn how to make bread. I want to scent my house with something more homely, more compelling than scented candles. I want my family to eat well and enjoy the art of living. I think I have found what I need: Allen & Unwin have ‘Bread’ by Daniel Stevens.

Does it just make you want to get your flour tin out and roll up your sleves?

  8. JM says:

Eat, Pray, Love because, well, I’m in a time in my life where I don’t know what I want or where I’m going.

    Goose Girl by Shannon Hale

Apparently it’s a good read, and I adore the covers of her books! :) )

Woops. I just realised it is out of print. :( Sadness…

I haven’t heard anything of this book before, but it sounds intense and a total teen issues read, which is something I am strangely drawn to. :\

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  11. Margie says:

I’d like to get a copy of Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. I can learn a little more about Australia…and get a family mystery as well. Thank you for the giveaway.

  12. Ka-Yam says:

I’M DYING/DESPERATE TO READ Good Oil by Laura Buzo. I’ve just clicked through 12 Australian online book stores. But $30 shipping cost to Germany!! INSANE!

  13. Kylie says:

“Matilda’s Last Waltze” by Tamara McKinley. I have searched the internet far and wide to find this book but it is always sold out and not reprinted. I enjoy reading about the country, as I love in country SA and can relate to them.

  14. Dani says:

    Blue Skies – Fleur McDonald
I am a through and through country girl who loves reading about other womens adventures in the outback weather its fiction or non-fiction. :)

  15. Ali says:

Red Dust by Fleur McDonald- I’ve been blown away by her second book Blue Skies and looking forward to being spell bound and couch ridden all over again…. (like Dani above) being a farmers daughter a woman’s way in the bush is always difficult to handle and Fleurs one a great job at hitting home!

  16. Tracy says:

“The Slap” by Christos Tsiolkas; it’s won awards and accolades. I want to see how he “sucks the juice” from a single moment, and be inspired to write.
