How I got into writing

The first epilogue for Blue Skies

Having a critique partner for writing is really important. They need to be honest with you and often, being further away from the writing than you are, will pick up obvious things, that you can’t see.

My friend, the much-mentioned Carolyn, reads everything I write and gives me honest and constructive criticism.

Her honesty is to be commended after reading the first epilogue for Blue Skies. The email back to me, reads: ‘Fleur, this is just my thoughts, but the ending is crap…’ It goes on to tell me why! The thing was, she was right. This first ending didn’t suit the book that had been written.

Once you read it, I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts!
